eaa designed modern and restrained corridor upgrades to the historic Rookery Building; considered one of architects Burnham and Root’s masterpieces. These upgrades are minimal and sleek in order for the new design to complement and respect the historic landmarked building. The corridors wrap around the central court which washes the spaces in natural light. A discreet gallery-like lighting concept has been implemented to accompany the natural daylight resulting in an overall museum aesthetic. Simple and durable wood-look luxury vinyl tile reinforces this impression. Sleek stainless steel letterings for tenant signage and full-height glass entry doors are the new and elevated building standard.
